Update

Just wanted to update you all, after getting a couple of requests on the status of our application. We have not been scheduled to go before the Common Council yet. We have asked that they hold our application over so we can continue to work with neighbors who have thoughts and concerns regarding the proposal. We have been meeting with folks individually and in small groups, and will continue to do so for the next few weeks.

Please check back for more information.

PARKING

Parking for our patrons and employees is a key part of our proposal. We want our patrons to be able to park conveniently, but we also wanted to mitigate the impact of additional cars in a neighborhood where parking is already very limited.

We will have more than 100 patron parking spots, off the street, on our property. In addition, we will have two remote lots. These lots will accomodate our overflow patron parking and valet service as well as our employees.

Finally, we are contracting with the same valet service that provides service for the Milwaukee Street businesses. That street is home to 9 of the citiy's most popular bars and restaurants , and has NO parking capacity. That valet service has been intrumental in making sure there are no parking or congestion problems on that street despite the fact that those establishments draw thousands of people to Milwaukee on any given evening.
