I have 2 questions:
ReplyDeleteFirst, will smoking be allowed in your proposed establishment? And if so will you have an exhaust system that filters it or just dumps it into the outside air?
Second, what is the proposed size of the Satin establishment in square feet, compared to your other clubs?
Lafayette R.
Here are the answers to the questions from Lafayette R.:
ReplyDelete1. The statewide smoking ban will take effect on July 5, 2010. Clearly, from that point on there will be no smoking at SATIN.
In the meantime, the club will have an air filtration system to mitigate the impacts of smoking in the club on outdoor air quality.
2. The club space proposed for SATIN totals about 11,000 sq. ft. This is quite a bit smaller than the club space we use at the SILK property which totals just shy of 25,000 sq. ft.
I own a condo two blocks from where you propose to open this. I do not like this idea as this will affect the my property value
ReplyDeleteOnce again, I would refer you to studies in North Carolina and Fort Wayne,Indiana that show residents experienced no adverse economic (including property values) or quality of life side effects even when situated within 1000 feet of an establishment.
ReplyDeleteis your application for license approved yet?
ReplyDeleteAny new developments with Satin?
